Central Victorians are being asked to have their say on how Bendigo Community Health Services can offer the best services where they’re needed, when they’re needed.
Bendigo Community Health Services delivers more than 50 programs across the region, which help people live healthier lives.
This includes access to GPs, along with services covering families and children, mental health and counselling, alcohol and other drugs, sexual health, men's and women's health clinics, supporting the LGBTIQ community and refugee settlement across the region.
HeadToHelp services will soon transition to be known as Head to Health services to bring them in line with a national government rollout of the service that now includes NSW and the ACT.
It’s just a name change and a new look - with the same great service, support and telephone number.
Have a happy, safe and healthy festive season from all of us at Bendigo Community Health Services.
Our services will be closed on selected days through the Christmas and New Year period.
Please find below our main site opening times:
Bendigo Community Health Services has participated in the national Needle and Syringe Program (NSP) since its inception in the 1980s.
Funded through the Victorian Department of Health, the program enables intravenous drug users to access clean injecting equipment and safe disposal bins free of charge.
BCHS Reception sites at Central, Eaglehawk and Kangaroo Flat are the access points for clients during business hours.
