Living with asthma
Our Respiratory Management Program can help you with any problems or issues associated with breathing and lung health. The program is staffed by our community health nurses who have specialised training in asthma management, lung health, and Quit smoking.
Our staff will provide you with information and support to help you to manage your disease at the ideal level and support you to achieve your goals.
The service provides education around:
- Correct use of medication and medication devices (ie spacers)
- The disease processes
- Quit smoking
- Lung testing and explanation of results
The Respiratory Management Program operates from our Eaglehawk and Elmore sites each Thursday between 9am and 5pm. Book an appointment at Eaglehawk on 5434 4300 or Elmore on 5432 6001. There is a cost of $5 for an appointment.
