The response to our 2019 Bendigo Community Coat Drive has been beyond our wildest dreams.

Jane and the team from Pristine Drycleaners still have this enormous pile of donations to clean with the Coat Drive finishing tomorrow.

So, for the first time ever we need to call a halt to donations so we can let the team finish and have a well-earned rest.

They have been just wonderful with their support and hard work in cleaning and delivering coats.

We have received thousands of coats, blankets, jumpers, jackets and the like.

We can't thank the Bendigo community enough for your wonderful generosity.

With the weather turning bitterly cold, the coats you have donated are making a huge difference to those in need and will continue to do so as people visit our sites and some of the great partners we have been supplying due to the fantastic response from all of you this year.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Thank you to AFL Central Victoria and the football and netball clubs across the Bendigo region for your enormous support. It's made a major difference.

And one of the great things about the coat drive each year is the wonderful acts of kindness the campaign generates.

Take Marong Primary School captain Logan who saw the campaign and started his own Mini Coat Drive at the school in support.

Or Knit4Charities who got members across Australia to lovingly knit and crochet beanies, blankets, gloves and scarves.

These are just two of the many kind gestures.

Such has been the response that we have been able to supply coats to other great partners like Haven Home Safe, Eaglehawk Community House and headspace Bendigo.

We can't thank Bendigo enough - what a city!
