I would like to share my hope that you have a wonderful Easter break to enjoy time with family, friends and participate in the amazing array of events and activities across our region.

I appreciate that Easter is an important celebration for Christians, and Easter Sunday is one of the most important parts of Christian faith, promising new hope, new joy and new aspirations. For others Easter has also come to represent wider hopes of renewal, fertility, happiness, transformation, peace and rebirth.

May it also be a time that we spend in peaceful reflection and look for ways to embrace inclusion of all people regardless of personal faith, gender, economic capacity or cultural heritage. I hope that the many millions of displaced peoples around the world are able to share in the joy and hope that we do.

I am looking forward to spending time with all my family back in Red Cliffs.

Please travel wisely, enjoy this time and keep safe.
