First ever BCHS careers expo is coming

Are you interested in a career with Bendigo Community Health Services?

The first ever BCHS career expo will be held in The Mill arcade at 165-171 Hargreaves Street from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.

This will be your opportunity to come and ask questions first-hand to the people who have taken the journey to where you want to go - how valuable is that!

About undertaking student placement with BCHS

Bendigo Community Health Services provides a supportive environment through a comprehensive Student Placement Program offered to post-secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Student placement aims to provide students with a meaningful experience that will enhance discipline-specific skills, graduate attributes and employability skills.

BCHS recognises the value of appropriately skilled health practitioners in regional primary health services.

We are committed to capacity building and workforce development for rural and regional students.

Opportunities afforded students on placement include integration into workplace health promoting teams, managing discrete projects, or a combination of both. BCHS offers a range of placement opportunities to the following disciplines:

  • Community Services
  • Counselling
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Medicine
  • Nursing (Community, Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs)
  • Occupational Therapy
