A&D Volunteers

Evidence has demonstrated that peer based education is more sustainable and effective in delivering health messages. The Alcohol and Drug sector is committed to providing opportunities for clients to get involved in locally based projects through volunteer work and one-off networking events.  Currently BCHS clients and ex-clients are involved in the management of the Blood Borne Virus (BBV) and Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) resource centre, developing a magazine for current and ex-users and artwork development for resource publications.
