Membership
Why become a member?
Becoming a member of Bendigo Community Health Services is a way in which you can show your support for the organisation. It is through it's strong membership and client and community engagement that we can better understand and cater for the needs of our community.
There are three levels of membership:

Friends of Bendigo Community Health Services;

Company membership; and
-
Life membership
Membership of Friends of BCHS is free and open to the community, and clients who either live, work or are enrolled as a student in the City of Greater Bendigo area. Applicants must be over the age of 18.
Company membership is also free however is restricted to 100 members and if the organisation should cease to conduct business, a guarantee to the value of $1.00 would be required from these members. Criteria for membership is the same as Friends of BCHS.
Life members are nominated by the Board of Directors from time to time.
Members of Bendigo Community Health Services are entitled to the following:

Information about Health and Wellbeing

Have your say about our communities health and wellbeing

Participate in client/patient and community surveys

Receive a copy of our Quality of Care and Annual Reports

Company members can be nominated to become a Director of the Board subject to eligibility

Participate in electing the Board of Directors

Members can make tax-deductible donations or a bequest to the organiation
